Yesterday I had the good fortune to do a couple of interviews in different media. Below is the audio of a segment from the Brian Lehrer Show, which aired on New York's NPR affiliate WNYC. Meanwhile, here's a link to the transcript of a live online chat that, er, scrolled on the Boston Globe website.

I will attest to finishing johnny bunko in an hour. I did it just yesterday!
I think there is a typo in the Boston Globe transcript. unattractive --> attractive
Daniel Pink: that's the key. every interviewer has a problem that he or she needs solved. if you can show how you'd make their life easier, how you can solve their problems or meet their unmet needs, you'll be very unattractive.
Dan, if you have time would you mind answering this question?
Is it a myth that interviewers decide whether they are going to hire the candidate within the first 2-3 minutes in meeting the candidate?
