Thanks, Nancy. We're actually exploring this possibility right now. Back to you soon.
I agree with Nancy. That is the first thing I thought when I read the book. I can't recommend it to kids. A second version would be great.
Love the book.

Jim --
Very helpful feedback. Much appreciated.
Best,
Dan
This is interesting. I gave links to this material to my college business writing students (no prudes, they!) and they jumped on "audience." 'tude is ok in manga, perhaps, but not with the other audience where this is being marketed. I would not suggest a G version but a RE version. Does language you wouldn't use around kids cut it in your formal business circles? after-work, sure.
Hey Jim and Nancy and Dave, I told my 13yr old son that I had an uncensored Manga book in my bag and in less than an hour he had sneaked it out and read it. Perhaps the trick is to tell them about the uncensored book and have them discover it at Barns & Nobel on the sly instead of the classroom???

Dan,
I had the pleasure of hearing you at the National Partnerships for the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. I just bought Johnny Bunko and love it. Is there a "G" version I can use for high school students. The "WTF" and the reference to crap and beer prevents me from using this with kids. They would love it!
